Arizona State University

After the pumpkin patch we spent a small amount of time at ASU. We paid the meter for an hour and we had to dig for change (oh the memories of college). While we were there we visited the ASU Bookstore, ate Chik Fil'A in the Memorial Union, and Kyle and I got our Flu Shots. Unfortunately we did not get many great pics, but we did get a great view of Palm Walk...which is one of the only original things left from when Kyle and I attended ASU. It looks very different, but I was glad to realize that it felt just the same to visit our Alma Mater. We saw this sign for Homecoming week, and we are excited to attend all the free events that happen for families that weekend.

Every year we go to the Desert Botanical Gardens for the Pumpking Patch and Hayride. We go with Joel, Shauna, Joshua, & Zachary Clark. Unfortunately last year we missed it because we were out of town. I am glad we got to go this year. We always look forward to it. I cannot believe how quickly the kids are all growing up, and Shauna cannot either. We have a rule...they can only pick a pumpkin as big as they can carry, for obvious reasons. This year Emma got the biggest of our family.

PS...I am not sure about blogger today. It is loading my pictures out of order. Maybe I can figure out the malfunction sometime soon...it just might be a user error.

UPS Daddy

Kyle was on his way to work...and Riesse wanted him bad; he picked her up and I had to snap this photo...its just way too cute! The girls love that their Dad works for a recognizable company. They think he actually owns every UPS Truck, and they fully expect to see him in one when they see it. It is always a treat to bring something to Daddy at work, because they get to see what he does and where. I enjoy the fact that he looks so Handsome (and by handsome I mean SEXY!) in his uniform. Gotta love those UPS Browns!

Kids love Babies but...

Every kid that comes to our house adores Riesse. They think that she is their little play toy, or a doll or something. Sometimes they get a little rough with her, I think because they don't actually realize she is alive and not actually a toy. Kaitlynn especially loves Riesse. She would not let me hold her at all yesterday, because Riesse belongs to Kaitlynn (well at least in her mind). Riesse got a little mad, she wanted me instead, I guess I hold her a little more secure or something crazy like that. Anyway, I got this great shot of all the girls together, if you look closely you can see that Riesse is sitting on Kaitlynn's lap, which is exactly where Kaitlynn wanted her.

You know there is a problem when...

We went to Costco for gas the other day. Our tank was absolutely empty...we were shocked by the price at the pump when we were done. It is kinda sad when you are happy that it ONLY cost $81 to fill the tank. Lately it has been closer to, and even over $100, so we were grateful for the $20 that was left over, but not really...because GAS is an astronomical expense for us these days.

Let's Go to the Zoo Zoo Zoo!

A Playgroup from our ward went to the Phoenix Zoo this week. We had a ton of fun. So many people showed up. There were 23 kids and 9 adults (only 1 of which was male). We looked at animals...and we played in water...we also ate lunch. The girls really enjoyed running with their friends, and having a little bit of freedom to move around. I am so excited to go back...now that we realize we ALL have Zoo passes...maybe we can make it a regular thing!

Enjoy the video...Thanks for making memories with me!

Wow...That's Fancy

If you click the title of this Post it will take you to the blog that shows the hair styles and teaches you how to do them yourself. There are even video's

Kelli's Back

Emma's Back

Amy found a blog that shows all kinds of cool hairstyles for girls. Unique cool hairstyle's that she wishes she could do on Mesa. Today I tried one out on Kelli 1st and then Emma. Emma's hair looks better...practice makes perfect (and her hair is short so somewhat easier). I thought this style was cool, and they love the look, no matter how much they whined about me doing it.

I LOVE pretty girl hair!

Conference...

I was sent these really cool packets for the kids to do during conference. All of them colored their CTR shields differently. It was really amazing getting to watch conference because the kids were occupied. Their coloring shows how different each of them really is.
